About Me
During my time as a high school student, I was inspired by a remarkable Latin teacher who instilled in me a deep appreciation for learning and a love of classical studies. This led to my lifelong dream of teaching Latin in her classroom, which I was able to fulfill for five years after taking over her role when she retired.
As my interests evolved, I developed a deep passion for eLearning design and technology. I embarked on a journey that took me through various freelance instructional design roles, eventually leading to my most recent position at a Learning Management agency in Zurich, Switzerland. In this dynamic role, I took on the dual role of a Project Manager / Instructional Designer, crafting tailored content for prestigious luxury brands, international sports federations, and cybersecurity companies. Concurrently, I oversaw the management of eLearning content across a range of client portfolios, consistently ensuring projects were delivered on time and within budget. Through this multifaceted position, I put my extensive skill set to work, achieving outstanding results.
In my spare time, I love taking my dog on hikes, skiing, and traveling as much as possible!
My Approach to Learning
Build Confidence: I strive to design eLearning experiences that not only inspire learners to acquire new skills but also equip them to apply those skills confidently and effectively in their daily lives.
Build Knowledge: To ensure the effectiveness of the eLearning experiences I design, I prioritize gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company's objectives and thoroughly assessing the target audience's needs, motivations, and potential challenges.
Build Relationships: I recognize the value of fostering strong and positive relationships with all stakeholders involved in the eLearning experience, as this enables effective collaboration, promotes clear communication, and ultimately drives the success of the program.
